28 of the 149 beers on this site have an open question against them. This page is the queue, kept in public so that the gaps are visible rather than papered over. It is not indexed by search engines.
Each of these is waiting on one specific thing, named in the row. Most of them need the small print on a current pack.
What each verification level means, and what we accept as evidence, is set out in how we check a beer. Most of the unverified rows below are supermarket own-label lagers, where no producer is published anywhere we can reach.

Widely sold, but no primary or trade-press source names the producer. Mostly supermarket own-label lagers. A photograph of the base of a can would settle almost all of them.

Sources that disagree 16
Where the sources contradict each other, the page shows both sides and says the matter is open. These are the ones worth a careful look, because a single fetched primary source would resolve them.
Open the page: retailer listings gave two strengths. Current Tesco and Asda cans are 3.4%, while Asda listed a 12 x 300ml bottle at 4.1%, which looked like a can-and-bottle split rather than old and new. No trade press report of the Amstel cut date was found, so the cut date is not established.
Open the page: a claim that Asahi Super Dry had moved to the Griffin Brewery at Chiswick was checked and is not supported. Both bottles and cans on Tesco carry Birra Peroni, Rome small print at 5.0%. The 2024 Griffin Brewery consolidation covered Meantime and Dark Star only, and no source was found for Asahi Super Dry moving to Chiswick.
Open the page: C&C Group's corporate product page still describes Menabrea as brewed in Biella, and that page was the source this row previously rested on. Against it, The Grocer reports that C&C moved brewing from Piedmont to the Tennent's brewery in Glasgow in June 2024 and quotes the UK pack as reading 'brewed in the UK the Italian alpine way under the supervision of Birra Menabrea'; the brand's own UK site at menabrea.co.uk carries 'Brewed in the UK' in its footer; and the Tesco packaging line already recorded on this row says the same. The UK-brewed reading is taken as correct and the corporate page as out of date.
Open the page: cruzcampo.es loaded and gives Cruzcampo Pilsen, the Spanish product closest to the UK Cruzcampo Sevilla, as 4,8%. The 4.8% home strength on record now rests on the brewer's Spanish page.
Open the page: the 12 x 250ml bottle is marked United Kingdom at Morrisons and Asda (re-read 2026-09-09) but Netherlands at Sainsbury's, whose listing prints 'Brewed in: Heineken Brouwerijen BV, Amsterdam'. Either two batches of that pack exist or one listing is stale; the format stays recorded as brewed in Britain on the two-to-one reading until a pack is read in hand. The 3 x 330ml bottle is still Netherlands at all three chains and the 650ml bottle still United Kingdom, so the supply stays split. No 4 x 330ml can or 6 x 330ml bottle is listed at Morrisons, Asda, Sainsbury's or Waitrose; Waitrose does not stock Desperados.
Open the page: Damm's own release says Estrella Damm has been brewed at Bedford since spring 2024, every retail pack still prints 'Brewed by: C.C. Damm S.L., Barcelona', and Ocado's 10 x 330ml can listing now carries a disclaimer: 'To ensure we keep up with demand, some Estrella Damm cans may be brewed in the UK, in addition to the stock we continue to import from Barcelona.' Local reporting on the Bedford plant says it fills cans and kegs only, with no bottling line. So the supply is split: cans may come from Bedford or Barcelona and the pack does not say which, and every bottle read (660ml at Morrisons and Ocado, 4 x 330ml and 12 x 330ml at Morrisons) is Barcelona. Held at partly verified because no can has been read that says Bedford on the pack.
Open the page: two strengths were reported. The UK product is 4.7% in both can and bottle, brewed in A Coruna and imported; the 5.5% figure is the Spanish home-market strength of Estrella Galicia Especial, not the UK strength. Both formats are the same 4.7%, so there is no format split. A 330ml bottle listing was not found on Tesco; the 660ml bottle was used instead.

Open the page: two strengths were reported. GB retailer cans are 4.1% (Tesco 8 x 440ml title and spec, Sainsbury's 4 x 440ml). One older Tesco 4 x 440ml listing (255238599) still shows 4.2%, which matches the Irish-market strength and is treated as stale or Irish stock. The UK strength is recorded as 4.1% and the home strength as 4.2%; both are brewed at St James's Gate, Dublin.
Open the page: Brauwelt (1 December 2023) reported that 'as of this year, all Leffe sold in the UK comes from the group's Samlesbury brewery', without saying which formats. Every retail bottle listing read in 2026 (Tesco 4 x 330ml and 12 x 330ml, Ocado 4 x 330ml, Asda 4 x 330ml and 750ml) prints 'Brewed by: InBev Belgium, Bd Industriel 21, B-1070 Brussels', and the Asda 750ml listing prints Country of Origin Belgium, so the bottles are recorded as imported from Belgium. The Morrisons 500ml listing shows only AB InBev UK Limited's London address and no country. No can listing could be read, so the can, and any draught, may be the Samlesbury product; supply for those formats is not established. Settled 6 September 2026: the can was found. Asda's 440ml can is marked country of origin United Kingdom and 'Brewed for Br. Abbaye de Leffe, Dinant. AB InBev UK Limited', while every bottle listing still prints InBev Belgium, Brussels. The trade report was right about the cans and wrong to say all of it: UK Leffe is split by format, cans brewed in Britain and bottles imported from Belgium.
Open the page: two Morrisons can listings disagree. The 4 x 440ml can is marked country of origin Spain, 'Brewed by Mahou S.A., Madrid, and canned by AB InBev UK Limited', while the 10 x 440ml fridge pack is marked country of origin United Kingdom, 'Brewed by AB InBev UK Limited'. Settled 6 September 2026: both listings were read again the same day and both stand. They describe two different packs, not one pack described two ways: the 4 x 440ml can is brewed in Madrid and canned in Britain, the 10 x 440ml can is brewed in Britain by AB InBev UK, and the 4 x 330ml and 12 x 330ml bottles are brewed and bottled in Madrid. The supply is split by pack, and every retail format has been read.
Open the page: three listings give three different producers. Morrisons' 12 x 330ml prints 'Brewed by: MCBC (UK) Ltd., Burton-on-Trent' with no origin field; Bestway's 24 x 330ml prints country of origin Czech Republic and 'Brewed for' Molson Coors UK; Matthew Clark's catalogue says United States. All three agree on 4.7%. The supply stays not established until a pack is read in hand.
Open the page: Two Tesco listings are on record for Murphy's. The 4 x 440ml listing (320977282) and the Asda 4 x 440ml listing print country of origin United Kingdom and 'Brewed and canned by Heineken UK Limited'. A second Tesco listing (320986576) is recorded as giving country of origin Ireland, with Heineken UK Limited as the responsible address. That page could not be read again on 2026-10-01 (Tesco returned 403), so which pack it describes is not established. The UK-brewed finding rests on the listings that print it; no source has been found that sets the Ireland entry against them.
Open the page: Carlsberg Britvic's own newsroom says 'it will brew and distribute Japan's iconic Sapporo Premium Beer in its UK portfolio from 1 August' and that it is 'the brand's full license partner, overseeing the on-trade and off-trade channels nationwide, as well as all brewing and marketing activities'. Against that, the Tesco listing for the 650ml can read on 2026-09-05 prints Country of Origin Japan and 'Brewed under supervision of Sapporo Breweries Ltd., Tokyo, Japan' at 5.0%. Both can be true during a changeover, so supply is recorded as mixed and the row is lowered to partly verified until a pack is read that names where it was brewed. No UK brewery site is recorded because no source names one.
Open the page: every current retail listing read (Tesco, Morrisons 15 x 330ml and 24 x 330ml, Asda 15 x 330ml) prints country of origin United Kingdom and 'Brewed by: Heineken UK Limited', and Heineken UK's own beer page lists Sol as 'Brewed in the UK'. Against that, when the strength was cut to 3.4% in February 2025 The Drinks Business wrote that it 'is now produced in Zoeterwoude in the Netherlands' and Somerset Live that it would be 'shipped from the factory in the Netherlands', and the 24 x 330ml pack lists a Heineken Amsterdam address alongside Edinburgh. In 2020 Heineken UK's brand director placed Sol at its Tadcaster brewery. The pack fields say Britain and the trade press says the Netherlands; the row keeps the pack reading and is held at partly verified, with no site named, until a bottle is read in hand or Heineken UK says where the 3.4% beer is brewed. Sol cans were not found at any chain.
Open the page: this row describes the packaged beer on supermarket shelves, chiefly the 660ml bottle. Tesco, Sainsbury's and Ocado all print country of origin United Kingdom with the Molson Coors Burton address for it, and Molson Coors' own site pages list Staropramen at Burton and Tadcaster. Against that, Ocado's listing gives 'Produce of the EU' as the country of packing, and a reading in May 2018 had the 330ml bottle marked 'Brewed and bottled in the EU'. It is a common understanding that UK draught is brewed at Burton while some packaged stock is still imported from Prague, and no source read here settles whether any current supermarket pack is Czech-brewed. The row is held at partly verified until a current pack is read in hand.
