At least one of those three claims rests on a secondary source or an inference, a disagreement between sources is still open, or a split supply has a format that has not been read.

UK ABV and launch dates are trade-press verified, but no source was found stating where Michelob Ultra for the UK is brewed and no UK retailer page with a country of origin field was located. where the UK product is brewed is left as not established.

Not listed at Ocado in a search on 2026-09-06.

2026-09-09: the only current UK listing found is a convenience store's (AppyShop) 355ml can, which prints country of origin United States with AB InBev UK as importer, so the UK product is recorded as imported. Not listed at Asda, Morrisons, Ocado or Bestway; The Grocer reports the multiples delisted it between 2019 and 2022. Held at partly verified because the origin rests on a single convenience listing.

The small print on the base of a current can or bottle, giving the producer name and address, would settle this.

In short

Michelob Ultra is the real thing on origin: the beer in UK shops is brewed at Anheuser-Busch breweries in the United States. It is, however, a weaker version: 3.5% here against 4.2% at home. The brand belongs to Anheuser-Busch InBev SA/NV, which also owns Bass and Boddingtons in the UK. The label says: "Country of origin: United States. Packed in: United States. Importer and distributor: AB InBev UK Limited, LU1 3LS."

This page is about the packs sold in supermarkets. Draught in pubs can come from a different brewery, and this page does not cover it unless a format table says so.
