Partly verified
At least one of those three claims rests on a secondary source or an inference, a disagreement between sources is still open, or a split supply has a format that has not been read.
Owner and ABV verified from the brand owner's site. The specific brewery site for Smooth Flow is inferred from Burton being the only remaining Carlsberg Britvic ale brewery, not confirmed by a source naming Tetley's.
2026-09-09: the 3.6% now rests on Carlsberg Britvic's own product page. The page does not name the brewery, so the site stays inferred.
The small print on the base of a current can or bottle, giving the producer name and address, would settle this.
In short
Tetley's Smooth Flow is brewed in Britain by Carlsberg Britvic and sold as what it is. The pack names Carlsberg Britvic, not the brewery; the site on record is Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire, and the site is inferred. The brand belongs to Carlsberg Group, which also owns Banks's and Carlsberg in the UK. It is 3.6%.
This page is about the packs sold in supermarkets. Draught in pubs can come from a different brewery, and this page does not cover it unless a format table says so.
