Partly verified

At least one of those three claims rests on a secondary source or an inference, a disagreement between sources is still open, or a split supply has a format that has not been read.

Brewery closure, site sale and brand relocation are verified. Ringwood Best Bitter's own current ABV and whether it survived the 2024 delisting round are not established.

2026-09-09: Ringwood Best Bitter was renamed Razorback in 2015 and survives as a 3.8% cask ale on Matthew Clark's 2026 list; CMBC's December 2023 closure notice sent it to Banks's in Wolverhampton, a brewery since reported closing. No supermarket bottle or can was found at any chain (first no-listing sweep), so the row may not belong in the supermarket scope; the site on record was an inference and is removed.

The small print on the base of a current can or bottle, giving the producer name and address, would settle this.
